Mistakes happen!
While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy
and completeness of the information in the
construction manual, errors and omissions
sometimes occur. The manual is occasionally
updated to make corrections, and all currently
known errors will also be listed here.
Version 2.0 rev. 8-14-12
page 27: BOM: material quantity for parts 22/43/44/45 listed incorrectly as .1875" x 2.25", should be 2.5".
page 27: Aluminum sizes- .75” x 1.25” stock. The (1) @ 1.25 length should be (1) @ 2.00” (for part number 26).
Total quantity of .75” x 1.25” aluminum stock should be 22.5".
page 28: Length of threaded acme rod= 8", not 12".
page 28: Thread pitches not indicated on some bolt/screw sizes.
page 28: Lag bolts, wrong quantity listed. (30) @ 1.25" required ONLY.
page 30: Part #6, offset holes shown toward wrong edge in axonometric view.
page 40: Part #2 left middle slot, should see the line of the tube edge in the end in top view.
page 44: Threaded set screw holes for slotted motor mount not shown in top view.
page 45: Part #7 1/4-20 threaded hole note, arrow not pointing to hole.
page 49: Note for CBORE, add "from bottom".
page 50: Wrong version number (1.2) listed on sheet.

page 54: part #17 Front view, outer set screws should be shown coming in from the top. They are shown correctly in top view and axon.
page 56 Wrong version number (1.2) listed on sheet.
page 66: part #29 front view, extra holes are shown, (dashed lines.)
page 66: Note required- grind/file 1/16" off of top edge of angle.
page 67: Part #30 front view, holes for motor (dashed lines) on wrong end of part.

page 28: Typo under ELECTRONICS, "Stepper motor choice motor choice may depend.” Duplicate "motor choice" text.
page 42: Part #4 (gantry right top), Two .25” holes (clearance holes for setscrews) are drawn smaller than .25”
page 58: Part #21 (Z motor mount left), diameter and depth of end holes is omitted. #10-32 x 3/4” deep.
pages 73-78: (all router clamps/mounts) 3.25” dimension between holes should be 3.625”
page 79: Part #44 (Y limit switch bracket). .75” dimension should be .625”
